There were a lot of questions about specific situations or areas and the best answer we can give you is to either Dial 211 or go to www.211KC.org

211 IS THE NUMBER TO CALL IF YOU HAVE ANY ISSUES AND YOU FEEL YOU ARE ELIGIBLE FOR THE GRANT MONEY AS DISCUSSED DURING THE MEETING

ALSO NOTE THIS CALL IS PRIMARILY FOR COVID RELATED GRANTS THOSE NEED TO BE DISBURSED BY DEC 31. However 211 is available to tenants in rental or utility assistance in future also.

211 covers almost the entire United States. Each area may be operated a bit differently but the number is a universal number and will connect to the organization who operates 211 in their area

Different agencies may have different requirements for assistance.  So some may require that a certain percentage of rent must be paid before assistance is available, but others may not require that.
